Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care across Pre Operative, PACU, and Endoscopy settings. The RN will float among ambulatory surgery centers, performing assessments, managing records, and delivering patient-centered care with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.

Requires ASN or higher, Texas RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS; travel between ASC locations and varied shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher required or equivalent.
• Texas RN license required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required or equivalent.
• Ability to travel between assigned ASC locations and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follows standards of care related to the nursing process.
• Conducts nursing assessments and maintains medical records.
• Provides clear verbal and written instructions to patients and families.
• Demonstrates culturally inclusive care and professionalism.
• Performs safe and competent operative room nursing per policy.
