Additional Information:

Required Education: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma

Recommended Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing

Required Work Experience: 1 of the following

Recommended Work Experience: Demonstrated performance of 100% at the previous level and score within documented RN II/III levels via ACHieve career ladder for internal employees., Nursing - 1 year of experience

Required Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license - Arkansas or Compact State

Recommended Certifications: Certification specific to patient population

  • Demonstrates a competent understanding and application of the AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered care, addressing physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
  • Provides safe, effective nursing care in accordance with policies, standards, and regulations, communicating effectively and collaborating with team members.
  • Assesses patients, provides developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive care, and incorporates recreational activities.
  • Analyzes data to identify problems, develops and applies care plans, and responds to changes in patient condition.
  • Provides patient and family education, assessing needs and documenting activities.
  • Advances evidence-based practice by applying current evidence, patient preferences, and clinical expertise.
  • Supports the AC Professional Practice Model, evaluates performance, and contributes to professional development.
  • Participates in decision-making activities, quality improvement, and community health initiatives.
  • Mentors and teaches healthcare professionals and students.
