Job summary

Dignity Health Arroyo Grande Community Hospital in Arroyo Grande, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform assessments, and coordinate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.   • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Registered Nurse: CA RN License.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 6 - months.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS, within 6 - months.

Responsibilities

  • Performs appropriate nursing history and physical at admission and on an ongoing basis.
  • Provides baseline data pertaining to activities of daily living.
  • Reflects physiological condition of the patient.
  • Reflects psychosocial needs of the patient.
  • Reflects perceptions of patient and/or significant others of his health problem(s) and his expectations of the present hospitalization.
  • Provides information needed to begin discharge planning.
