Day and Night Rotation

Pay:

$35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
• Registered Nurse
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities and Environment

Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Emphasize a multidisciplinary team approach, prioritize wellness, and promote evidence-based practice. Model proficiency through precepting newcomers, welcome new knowledge, and contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.

Specifics for Acute Care

• Care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity.
• Follow core curriculum and specialty certification standards within evidence-based care models.
• Clinical Educators support and guide specialty education and competency validation during orientation.
