Job description

RN - ICU/Trauma Progressive Care (F4) position at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is a full-time role based in Little Rock, focusing on providing direct patient care in a 30-bed blended ICU and Intermediate Care unit. The unit primarily handles trauma and acute care surgery patients, including those with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other critical conditions.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors, or Master's in Nursing.
  • Valid RN License.
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Strong communication and basic computer skills.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assessing and documenting patient data.
  • Developing and implementing care plans.
  • Providing patient and family education.
  • Administering medications and supporting interdisciplinary care.
  • Supporting a positive work environment and mentoring staff and students.

  • Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, and handling heavy weights, with the ability to don PPE including N95 masks and PAPR/CAPR.
