AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shift to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care plan development, medication administration, patient education, EMR documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. ADN required; BSN preferred; Florida RN license and BLS certification required. Night shift with competitive benefits.

Job Description

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status, identify needs, and establish priorities of care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and modify care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Document assessments, interventions, care plans, and patient outcomes accurately and timely within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection prevention practices and safety protocols.
• Respond effectively to emergency and life-threatening situations utilizing established protocols and critical care skills.

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
