Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in California seeks a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients in line with established standards and the nursing process. You will supervise and direct nursing staff, coordinate care with other disciplines, and apply critical thinking and independent judgment to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Required are CA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS; BSN preferred, acute care experience

Qualifications

Job Summary

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred)


• Acute care facility experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice (Required)


• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy (Required)


• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification (Required)


• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (Required)


• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (Required)
