Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff RN for ICU coverage on a PRN/Nights schedule (7p-7a). You will provide holistic nursing care, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure high standards of patient safety and outcomes.

Must be a graduate of a nursing program with an active Georgia RN license and BLS certification. ICU experience is required to join a collaborative, tech-enabled environment at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Qualifications

  • Must have graduated from a nursing program.
  • Current Georgia RN license in good standing (state license).
  • BLS Certification required through AHA or Red Cross.
  • Previous ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
  • Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff for quality care.
  • Maintain standards of practice and accountability.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.



Qualifications:

Requirements:



  • Must have graduated from a nursing program.

  • Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.

  • BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

  • Previous ICU experience required
