Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks a Registered Nurse for a seasonal per diem role. The position requires Florida RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and ICU experience of at least two years. NIHSS training is a plus, and CCRN is preferred.

The assignment involves minimum three shifts per week from October 2026 to May 2027, with screening and interview details provided in the process. The RN will deliver patient-centered care, assess and plan nursing care, and follow established standards

Formación

This is a seasonal per diem position that will require the team member to work at a minimum, 3 shifts per week between October 2026 - May 2027. Additional details will be covered during screening & interview.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN preferred

Experience / Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.
• CCRN Preferred
• At least 2 years of ICU experience

Position Summary

Within nursing services, the Registered Nurse assumes the accountability and responsibility as a professional nurse for providing “Patient Centered Care” for an assigned group of patients.

• The RN plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care while providing a holistic view, which may include dimensions of physical, developmental, emotional, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and functional status.
• Assessment involves the orderly collection of information to develop a comprehensive Standard of Care to meet identified patient care outcomes and evaluate effectiveness of a nursing plan of care.
• Established nursing objectives, standards, policies, and procedures will be followed in administering nursing care.
• Initial assessments provide a baseline for future comparisons that can be made in order to individualize care.
• Ongoing assessment and reassessment are required to meet the patient’s changing needs.
