Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in ICU PCCU to deliver compassionate, safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment at our facility in Illinois.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license with ACLS and BLS certifications and have at least 1 year of inpatient nursing experience. ICU/ER or wound/ostomy experience is preferred, and CWON/CWCN certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (or equivalent).
• Active Illinois RN license is required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Assessing patients, collecting health data, and communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Providing culturally sensitive education on disease management, emergency care, and medication use.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, sharing knowledge, and supporting clinical education.
• Assisting technical staff with procedures such as venipuncture, drug administration, and IV management.
• Participating in performance improvement activities, research, and evidence-based practice.
• Monitoring wound, ostomy, and skin care when skilled, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Transporting acutely ill patients as needed and maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Skills

Active Illinois RN license
