Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, organizing, and administering patient care within your scope of training and expertise, collaborating with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient care and desired patient outcomes, in accordance with hospital policies and Tennessee Nurse Practice Act.

Hours of Position:

36 hours/week, day shift (7p-7a)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate in establishing and implementing the care plan, anticipating patient needs across the continuum.
  2. Analyze patient information to determine nursing diagnoses.
  3. Use the nursing process to evaluate and adjust care to meet patient goals.
  4. Promote health and create a safe environment.
  5. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Technical Capabilities:
  • Nursing assessment and evaluation in home care settings.
  • Patient education at a fundamental level.
  • Care planning and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to research and apply evidence-based nutrition practices.
