AdventHealth in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical ICU role. This full-time, day shift position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a relocation incentive for eligible candidates, with opportunities for career growth through our Clinical Ladder program.

You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, educate families, and document in the EMR.

Qualifikationen

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

Work Experience:

• 1+ year of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months [Required]
