Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking an experienced RN for the ICU at Evanston Hospital. This full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) includes weekend rotation and 36 hours per week, with no travel required.

The role requires IL nursing licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and preferably a BSN. At least 1 year of hospital nursing experience is preferred, with a focus on safe, high-quality patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the ICU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
