This role serves as a leader in patient care, utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Responsibilities include delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes, and demonstrating cultural sensitivity. The role also involves supporting the department’s strategic goals and maintaining professional accountability.
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Required); Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Preferred).
Work Experience: None required.
Certifications: Current RN license in practice state, BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Specialty certification preferred.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, standards, and regulations. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the organization’s policies and standards of conduct. The physical and environmental demands include exerting significant force, exposure to communicable diseases, and working in a healthcare setting with potential hazards.
