Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park, IL is seeking an experienced ICU RN to join our hospital-based care team. This full-time opportunity requires a 36-hour work week with day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and rotating weekends.

You will provide direct nursing care across patient populations, utilize the nursing process to plan and evaluate care, and mentor assigned unlicensed staff. A IL nursing license and BLS/CPR are required, with BSN preferred and at least 1 year of hospital experience

Qualifications

• Must hold current IL nursing license.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and high quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Location: Highland Park, IL – Highland Park Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 7am-7:30pm (Day shift), w/ rotating weekends

What you will need

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: BSN degree preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: Minimum 1-year current hospital nursing experience preferred
