Position Summary: Clinch Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU and CCU departments. Responsibilities include planning, delegating, and coordinating nursing care via the nursing process, meeting standards of care and practice, and collaborating with the healthcare team to establish and achieve patient goals. The RN will assess educational needs of patients and their families, and provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria for adult, geriatric, and occasional adolescent populations.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and current Virginia RN registration
• Baccalaureate Degree preferred
• At least three years of hospital nursing experience preferred
• Completion of orientation program before providing direct patient care
• Must acquire and maintain ACLS proficiency
• CPR certification and successful completion of medication and unit-specific proficiency tests annually
• Medical-Surgical Certification preferred
• Ability to make decisions and intervene on complex problems in patient care
