Job summary

South County Health in Rhode Island is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate total nursing care and lead patient education within a multidisciplinary team. The role requires current RN licensure in Rhode Island or a Compact state and BLS certification, with at least one year of acute care experience.

The nurse will deliver comprehensive care across the patient lifespan using the Nursing Process and collaborate with the care team to uphold standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing.
• Current or pending licensure to practice as an RN in Rhode Island or another Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• BLS from AHA required.
• BLS from AHA and minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
• Provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
