Job summary

ARMStaffing in Taos, NM seeks an ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on the night shift (19:00–07:00), 3x12 hour shifts weekly.

You will deliver critical care to patients across ages, monitor vitals and labs, administer meds, and support ventilated patients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse will provide critical and high-acuity care for patients of all age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role involves managing critical interventions and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to stabilize patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and prioritize critical interventions.


• Monitor and interpret vital signs and laboratory results.


• Administer medications and IV therapies as per protocols.


• Assist with emergency procedures and provide care for ventilated patients.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience.


• Travel experience is required.


• Charge experience is a plus.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.


• NRP certification is preferred.


• Must have a valid state nursing license before the start of the assignment.
