Piedmont Mountainside Hospital seeks a Staff Nurse to provide patient-centered nursing care across the lifespan, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse works within organizational policies and coordinates care with staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Candidates must hold an active Georgia RN license (NLC/eNCL multistate accepted) and BLS; new graduates are eligible for PRN roles; hospital experience preferred.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• New graduates eligible for PRN positions.
• Current RN licensure in Georgia (NLC/eNCL multistate) required.
• BLS certification required; advanced specialty certification preferred.

Overview

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
