Job summary

The Registered Nurse in the ICU at Cynet Health provides direct patient care in a high-acuity unit during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The 13-week contract requires 36 hours per shift and 3 years of nursing experience preferred.

Candidates must hold a valid State RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and possess ICU, NIHSS, CRRT, and Balloon Pump experience. Availability for holidays, every other weekend, and progressive care floating is required.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Holiday availability required and every other weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients on admission and initiate care plans under physician direction.
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in ICU.
• Monitor vital signs, labs, imaging, and respond to deteriorating conditions.
• Document care and communicate with the care team clearly.

Description:The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team.They are responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas.The RN will be required to assess patients upon admission.This includes using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests.The RN will be involved in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician.Excellent mathematical and analytical skills are required.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
