Saint Joseph Medical Center - East Lexington in Lexington, KY seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. The role emphasizes critical thinking, meticulous assessments, and collaborative care planning.

The position supports a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient outcomes, ethical practice, and ongoing professional growth. A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 and student loan assistance up to $24,000 are available to eligible

Competenze

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license in Kentucky at hire.
  • BLS/CPR required at hire; ACLS within 90 days.

Mansioni

  • Assesses and analyzes patient conditions to determine needs for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
  • Delivers individualized care and coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to implement plans.
  • Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies.
  • Monitors progress toward patient outcomes and adjusts care as needed.
  • Supports patient education and discharge planning with families.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

  • Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
  • Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decisioning to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
  • Implements and/or modifies plan of care using assessment data, standards of care and evidence based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning. Facilitates interdisciplinary partnership in patient care.
  • Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
  • Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Evaluates progress towards attainment of desired patient outcomes.
