Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph East in Lexington, Kentucky. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate the care plan within an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires BSN path, KY RN license, BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC deadlines; a Neonatal Resuscitation Program is preferred. Join a 217-bed community hospital and grow in a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma Of Nursing Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
• BSN required: 2 years from hire date to enroll; completed within 5 years
• Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 6 months
• Trauma Nurse Core Course, within 12 months
• neonatal resuscitation program preferred

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting
• Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems using critical thinking to determine need for interventions
• Implements and modifies plan of care including education and discharge planning
• Delivers care preserving patient autonomy, dignity and rights
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments
