Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an experienced ICU RN for Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The nurse will coordinate total nursing care for critically ill medical-surgical patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and work with a multi-disciplinary team.

Night shift 7:15pm–7:15am with weekend/holiday rotation. The role offers a strong orientation program, opportunities for professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plan and tuition

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Critical Care RN experience.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and provide leadership with the care team.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within assigned unit.

We are searching for an EXPERIENCED RN for the ICU unit

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Night, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

The ICU cares for our critically ill medical surgical patients. We support very busy orthopedic, pulmonary and bariatric surgical populations. The CCU - Cardiac Critical Care Unit, specializes in cardiac surgery and support one of the busiest Cardiac Catheter Labs in Massachusetts. We offer specialized training for many cardiac devices. We are proud of our patient to nurse ratios, nurse-driven protocols, orientation program, and 24‑hour resource and support.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Critical Care RN experience.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 /Hr.
