Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Colorado. This role involves 12-hour shifts with 36 hours guaranteed per shift, delivering high-level nursing care in the ICU.

Required: active RN license, BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable. Previous ICU RN experience preferred and ability to float as needed within hospital units.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the practicing state.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as appropriate for unit.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care within ICU protocols.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Deliver health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
• Document care and coordinate with healthcare team.
• Float to other departments as needed and may be on-call.

Description:Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing.Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care.Evaluates health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data.Performs health teaching and health counseling.Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation with, delegation to, supervision of, or teaching of others.Executes delegated medical functions.Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.Uses resources as needed.Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization and abides by service behavior standards.Performs other duties as assigned.May be required to float to other departments based on business need.May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
