ARMStaffing is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a 20-week contract in Bel Air, Maryland. The role requires ICU expertise, an active Maryland RN license (or compact), and certifications (ACLS/BLS/NIHSS).

The position involves night shifts (3x12 hours) with every third weekend, starting Sept 14, 2026, at a high-acuity facility. The hospital team relies on skilled nurses to manage ventilated patients, CRRT, and post-surgical cases, using central lines and chest tubes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Experience with chest tube insertion, ventilation, and central line management.

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care in a high-acuity environment. Nurses in this role must be proficient in managing a variety of critical patient conditions and engaging in advanced medical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform advanced nursing procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition.
• Provide care for patients with complex medical needs, including ventilated patients, CRRT, and post-surgical cases.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as central lines and chest tubes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active RN license in Maryland or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Experience in managing and assisting with procedures such as chest tube insertion, ventilation, and central line management.
