Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Antioch, CA ICU on a travel assignment. Expect 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), a 36-hour workweek, and a travel package with lodging stipends and per diem.

The ideal candidate will hold a CA RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and ICU experience, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or ASN required.
• Current RN license in CA.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience within last 3 years.
• 2 years ICU experience preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate preferred.
• CCRNs are a plus.
• Copy of PSV and up-to-date certifications may be required.

Mansioni

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and response to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Operate critical-care equipment and respond to changes in patient condition.

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $38.43 Stipend (Lodging $1,029.00 + M&I $602.00 = $1,631.00)

Total Comp : $3,245.12

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details

Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN

ICU RN Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
• Operate and monitor critical-care equipment and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care while maintaining professional standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing / Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Current RN license in State of CA
• BLS, ACLS,Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years.
• Two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience is preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate
• CCRN preferred.
• Dialysis, SLED or equivalent preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
