About The Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in ICT working the night shift at UAB Medical West, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals with severe and life-threatening conditions. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans. You must respond swiftly to emergencies to stabilize patients and educate patients and their families about health management and recovery processes. Your expertise and compassionate care will significantly impact patient outcomes and contribute to the healthcare team's success.

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Specialized training or certification in critical care nursing (CCRN).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and lab results.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
