Citizens is seeking a New York State-licensed Registered Nurse to oversee nursing services under the Assistant Director of Nursing, ensuring compliance with OPWDD and DOH regulations and guiding clinical care in the homes.

Responsibilities include hands-on clinical support, medication administration, emergencies, directing LPN/AMAP staff, creating PONS, and contributing to quality of care through team meetings and regulatory surveys.

Competenze

• NYS Registered Nurse License.
• 1 year experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of OPWDD and DOH regulations.

Mansioni

• Provides hands-on clinical support including assessments, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Provides clinical direction to LPN & AMAP staff and ensures nursing skills are performed to standards.
• Ensures implementation of primary nursing principles and compliance with OPWDD/DOH regulations in assigned homes.
• On-call 24/7 to assist with triage of medical concerns when RN isn’t on site.
• Completes a plan of nursing services (PONS) for each person on caseload and maintains up-to-date documentation.
