Job summary

SCO Family of Services in New York, NY seeks a Licensed RN to oversee all medical aspects of the person supported health. You will have weekly face-to-face contact with each person supported, ensure essential medical appointments, and manage medications and nursing assessments.

You will lead nursing record-keeping, advocate for patients during care, participate in program planning, and train staff on health issues. Travel to sites may be required up to 25%.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• NY license in good standing
• One year of experience with IDD preferred
• Respect for person-first language and Code of Conduct
• Valid NYS Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Oversees health and medical issues for person supported.
• Maintains mandated medical records (monthly nursing notes, visit summaries, discharge summaries).
• Reviews medical materials and participates in chart audits quarterly.
