The Highland Hospital Operating Room offers a fast-paced, exciting, and collaborative work environment. Join a team where cutting-edge technology is used, and surgeries are performed daily in our recently expanded facility featuring 16 state-of-the-art operating rooms. The RN plays a vital role in the OR and is relied upon for professional judgment and critical thinking skills.

We are seeking candidates who can work full-time day/evening rotations Monday through Friday, with night, weekend, and holiday call. Highland has a rich history of providing compassionate, personalized patient care and was honored with Magnet re-designation.

Level I Registered Nurse (RN):

The Level I RN is a new graduate with an Associate Degree (AD) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN), completing the Nursing Practice Orientation Program within 6 months of clinical experience or less post-licensure. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Level I nurse is responsible for providing direct care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process. The Level I nurse supports peers in delivering patient care in an organized manner, prioritizing safety, team collaboration, and communication. The Level I nurse also contributes to unit activities that enhance patient care outcomes. After completing the six-month evaluation with the Nurse Manager and meeting performance expectations, the nurse may be advanced to Level II RN.

PAY RANGE: $38 - $41

*The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual salaries will be set within this range based on factors such as market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity.
