Job summary
The State of Illinois Department of Human Services is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse for the Mabley Developmental Center in Dixon, Illinois. You will provide direct nursing care for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and work with an interdisciplinary team to meet medical needs.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program and Illinois RN licensure.
Qualifications
- Requires graduation from an approved nursing program resulting in an associate or diploma degree in nursing OR a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care to individuals served on an assigned shift.
- Attends treatment team meetings to update the Interdisciplinary Team on medical changes and documents information per policy.
- Performs quality assurance activities including audits and infection control reports.
- Serves as medical/nursing resource on the assigned shift during absences of other nursing personnel.
