Behavioral Health RN House Supervisor
Sat/Sun - Part Time Days/12 hour shift

Located in East Mesa, this Agave Ridge Behavioral Health, serves the community with high quality behavioral health services in a beautiful state of art building.
Agave Ridge Behavioral Hospital is a 100 bed acute care psychiatric facility that offers a full continuum of inpatient behavioral healthcare services for adult patients including comprehensive treatment for those who struggle with acute symptoms of behavioral health disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
ResponsibilitiesPURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for day to day oversite of nursing operations of the facility and ensures staffing is adequate to provide care. When scheduled, oversees the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. As needed, collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams, other departments and administration to ensure that all residents’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints. Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as nursing practice standards. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· BSN from accredited school of nursing preferred.
· Current registered nursing license in State of facility required
· Greater than 1 year of experience as an RN strongly preferred.
· 1 year of experience as an RN in any setting required.
· 1 year in psychiatric/recovery programs preferred.
· Some experience as a charge RN or other leadership position strongly preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current certification or license to teach within the state where the facility is located. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
