Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for a part-time, 0.6 FTE role with 12-hour day shifts. The position supports Nursing Management, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting, reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited nursing program degree, California RN license, and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of charge nurse or leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Acts as a resource to the Nursing Management team regarding staffing, scheduling and budgeting.
• Manages the Nursing/House Supervisors, staff, and operations of the Nursing/Staffing Office, Float Pool, Monitor Technicians and the Nursing Administration registry budgets.
• Maintains knowledge of staffing, scheduling and pay policies; communicates these clearly.
• Collaborates with colleagues across the Service Area to ensure consistent practices; reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Description

RN - House Supervisor for Providence Little Company of Mary in Torrance, CA. This position is Part Time, 0.6 FTE and will work 12-hour Day shifts.

Acts as a resource to the Nursing Management team relative to overall staffing, scheduling and budgeting. Responsible for managing the Nursing/House Supervisors, staffers, and operations of the Nursing/Staffing Office, Float Pool staff, Monitor Technicians and the Nursing Administration registry budgets. Maintains in depth knowledge and understanding of all staffing, scheduling and pay policies and procedures as well as an ability to effectively communicate this understanding. Works collaboratively with colleagues within Service Area to foster consistent practices. This position reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
