Job summary

Georgetown Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a House Supervisor - RN to oversee nursing staff and the inpatient unit, ensuring high-quality, safe psychiatric care aligned with hospital philosophy. Responsibilities include staff supervision, policy implementation, and coordination of patient care.

The role requires an ADN/BSN, Texas RN licensure, CPR, and crisis-management certification; prior management experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CPR and Certified in facility approved verbal de-escalation and physical crisis management techniques within 30 days of hire and prior to completion of orientation.
• Valid Texas RN license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and nursing program operations to meet mental health needs.
• Ensure safety and therapeutic milieu within the unit.
• Coordinate care planning and collaboration with physicians and health professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient treatments in accordance with hospital policy.
