RN House Supervisor- Community Hospital East

Shift: Variable

Hours: PRN - Variable Hours

Where you fit in

The RN House Supervisor will demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, and performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the organization. You will demonstrate leadership skills in staffing, patient placement, and operational problem solving. Your major objective is to manage resources, monitor policy and regulatory compliance, and oversee relationships and care to meet targets and outcomes. You will provide delegation, supervision, and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel throughout the facility.

  • Understanding of departmental workflows and team building skills.
  • Ability to effect change by assuming leadership roles in interdisciplinary teams and supporting team development.
  • Knowledge of healthcare policies, regulations, and reimbursement practices.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple issues and priorities.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with decisive action.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school or three years of related professional nursing experience.
  • Three (3) years of RN experience in acute care and decision-making.
  • Current RN license in Indiana.
  • Certification in relevant specialty or nursing administration preferred.
  • ACLS certification required.
