Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interprets hospital policy and state law related to nursing service.
• Evaluates and formulates policies, procedures, and decisions for the nursing service.
• Participates in hospital safety procedures and programs.
• Manages guidance and counseling for shift personnel.
• Evaluates and reviews nursing service records and staffing.
• Coordinates nursing service activities through charge nurses.
• Maintains orientation programs for new employees.
• Assists in supervising in-service education and reporting outcomes.
