Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA, is seeking an Administrative Supervisor Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift with weekend rotations.

The role represents Nursing Administration in their absence and ensures patient safety while supporting staff and departments. Requires RN licensure, ACLS/BLS within prescribed timelines, and 3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
• 3 years experience required

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient transfer in accordance with policy and procedure
• Maintain standards of performance related to each department with patient safety as the primary goal
• Demonstrate management acumen in conflict resolution involving staff, physicians or customers
• Exercise independent judgment within the context of interdisciplinary patient care
• Hold general clinical responsibility for patient care departments for a specific shift
