Job summary

Harbor Healthcare System in the Beaumont area is seeking a qualified full-time In-Patient Registered Nurse (RN) for Night shifts. The RN will admit, assess, discharge and coordinate care for patients and families as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include admissions, assessments, discharges and pronouncements, with a rotating weekly schedule and 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am. Beaumont area hospital setting, TX license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of Texas is required.
• 1+ years of RN experience is preferred.
• Experience with Hospice or Home Health is preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Clean background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Admissions, assessments, discharges and pronouncements.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure appropriate care plans and family communication.
