Job summary

Self-Help for the Elderly is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor in San Francisco to lead the Home Health/Hospice clinical team. Responsibilities include directing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, and maintaining compliance with regulations while collaborating with the DPCS.

The role requires five+ years nursing experience, supervisory skills, and a BSN or higher; CPR/BLS is mandatory. Travel and scheduling flexibility are expected to support 24-hour coverage and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years nursing experience, with at least two years as RN in Home Health/Hospice.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong supervisory and leadership experience.
• Knowledge of quality improvement and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel via public transport; CA driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day clinical operations of the hospice team.
• Supervises Home Health/Hospice nurses and aides.
• Ensures safety programs and risk management; fosters trust.
• Plans and implements staff education and in-service training.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, and staff evaluations.
• Ensures 24-hour clinical coverage in collaboration with DPCS.
• Coordinates patient care and services with Director of Patient Care Services.
