Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate hospice care in patients' homes and other settings. You will collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to manage end-of-life care with dignity and empathy.

The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program and active RN licensure in the state of employment, with preferred home health or hospice experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an approved school of nursing and RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience strongly preferred.
• Home health or hospice experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients and families during the final stages of life.
• Work in private homes, residential facilities, nursing centers and other hospice environments.
• Supervise licensed vocational/practical nurses and nursing aides as needed.
• Demonstrate compassionate communication and alert doctors to changes in patient condition.

Responsibilities

Enhabit Hospice RNs work with patients, their families, and other health care professionals during the final stages of patients' lives. Our nurses work in private homes, residential care facilities, nursing centers, and other hospice care environments. They may also supervise licensed vocational/practical nurses and nursing aides. Our nurses must be capable of compassionate communication with patients and families, have keen observation skills, high ethical standards, and knowledge of when to alert doctors and others about changes in patients' conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and have dependable transportation
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience is strongly preferred
• Previous home health or hospice experience is preferred
