Job description

Salary: $30 - $35 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Responsibilities

1. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
3. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members and document actual and potential nursing diagnoses.
4. Document the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions.
5. Perform interventions according to priorities, plan of care, hospital policies, and patient care standards.
6. Revise the plan of care based on evaluations, changes in medical plan, and effectiveness of interventions.
7. Use clinical judgment in evaluations to meet patient care needs, including establishing priorities.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Current RN license for the practicing state.
2. Current health certificate (per facility or state regulation).
3. Current PPD or chest X-ray.
4. Current BLS certification.
5. One year of RN experience preferred.
