Job description

Pay: $38 - $40 / hr
Maxim Healthcare in Champaign, IL is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
  • Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
  • Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
  • Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient condition and report such changes to the physician or supervisor.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness.
  • Review care plans and protocols, identify areas for education, care coordination, and discharge planning.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license for the state of practice.
  • Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year RN experience preferred.
