Maxim Healthcare in Plano, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient status and needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
• Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document the effectiveness of interventions.
• Review the plan of care and protocols, identifying areas for healthcare education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning, as applicable.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior RN experience preferred.
