Job description

Maxim Healthcare in Baltimore is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with a pediatric patient in their own home.

The patient is a 5-year-old male with a G-tube, located in Baltimore, 21206.

Shifts are every night from 10 PM to 6 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services.
• Initiate the plan of care as directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervene in response to changes in patient condition and report to the physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor effectiveness, and document interventions.
• Review the care plan and protocols, and identify education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current health certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
