Qualifications

Job description

Salary: $30 - $35
Maxim Healthcare in (insert location) is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
  • Initiate the plan of care when directed and request necessary revisions from the prescriber as patient status and needs change.
  • Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
  • Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness of interventions.
  • Review the plan of care and program protocols; identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning, as applicable.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of practice.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year of prior RN experience preferred.
