Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients in Virginia. The role offers a competitive hourly rate with weekly paychecks and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering patient care, initiating care plans, administering medications, and coordinating education and discharge planning as needed. A valid RN license and health certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility or state.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates plan of care and requests revisions as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and monitors effectiveness of interventions.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education, discharge planning, and goals.

The pay range is $42 - $47.50 an hour, pay rate is negotiable and based on experience / skill level

Maxim Healthcare out of Richmond VA, is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required


• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change


• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals


• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor


• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention


• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.


• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).


• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.


• Current BLS card.


• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
