Job description

Pay: $37-40/hr

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The RN demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Patient Care:
  • Pediatrics
  • Full Time Overnights
  • Gtube, Trach, Vent
Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare team members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions.
  • Performs interventions according to priorities, plan of care, hospital policies, and patient care standards.
  • Revises the plan of care based on evaluation, medical plan changes, and intervention effectiveness.
  • Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs, including prioritization.
  • Other RN duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Current RN License for the state of practice.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One year of prior RN experience preferred.
