Salary: $55 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Westbury is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Details: Looking for day, night, and on-call nurses

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services
• Initiate the plan of care as directed and request revisions from prescribers as patient needs change
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to physicians or supervisors
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness
• Review care plans and protocols, identify areas for education, care coordination, and discharge planning

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the practicing state
• Current health certificate (per facility or state regulation)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card
• One year RN experience preferred
