Job description

Pay: $35 - $38 / hour

Maxim Healthcare in Andover, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

• Pediatric patient care
• Gtube/Trach/Vent experience
• Full-time day shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-4pm

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services
• Initiate the plan of care as directed and request revisions from the prescriber as patient needs change
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to physicians or supervisors
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness
• Review care plans and protocols to identify education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the practicing state
• Current health certificate (per facility or state regulation)
• Current PPD or chest X-ray
• Current BLS certification
• One year of RN experience preferred
