Maxim Healthcare in Keokuk, IA is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.
Available shift: Full-time or Part-time Days
Pay: $38 / hour

Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
  • Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions from the prescriber as patient status and needs change.
  • Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
  • Responds to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, monitors, and documents effectiveness of interventions.
  • Reviews the plan of care and program protocols, identifying areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning, as applicable.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of practice.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year of prior RN experience preferred.
